NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Cranbrook Archives, Museum and Landmark Society will be held at the Cranbrook History Centre’s Royal Alexandra Hall, 57 Van Horne St. S, Cranbrook BC, on May 25th, 2023 at 6:00 pm Mountain Time for the following purposes: 1. To receive the financial statements of the Society for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2022. 2. To receive the reports of the Board of Directors. 3. The Election of Officers 4. and to consider such other business as may properly come before the annual general meeting. Nominations are now open for the Cranbrook Archives, Museum and Landmark Society Board of Directors. If you have an interest in the preservation and celebration of local heritage, have time, experience and/or skills in; grant writing, events management, administration, bookkeeping, volunteer coordination, the Societies Act, fundraising, marketing, or have a technical background in heritage and culture management, please consider serving on the Board or as a committee leader. While nominations can be made right up to and including at the AGM, we kindly ask that they be submitted before May 16th, 2023 so that the names of those who have accepted the nomination can be introduced in the AGM member package. The nominee must be a member in good standing for a period of one month before AGM to serve on the Board of Directors.
